Remotely close, large original charcoal drawing

This large size drawing was inspired by lichen in oak trees. The female figure is turned toward all the movement and detail, and the boundary between figure and environment became quite fluid while I was working on this piece. I think my work often shows a sort of longing to dissolve or disappear into the larger nature of things. At the same time there is also a need to define and express something of the personal soul, and I tried to interwine those two aspects in this piece.

This drawing comes shipped in a tube and can be framed to your liking, but in the right place I also think it looks good hung naturally, like a tapestry. It is fixated and done on quality Reeves paper.
